About Collection:
The Holiday Splendor Glass Ornaments Collection has been inspired by old-world Eastern European families who, for nearly 200 years, painted beautiful miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
It took years of perfecting this technique to develop the innovative painting form now proudly presented in our exclusive G. DeBrekht Glass Ornaments. As in the old days, each ornament is made from 1.5 mm hand-blown mercury glass, silver-powdered on the inside and sandblasted on the outside.
By combining rich colors with multi-layer painting techniques, each piece achieves an iridescent, solid effect. Every ornament is carefully finished with touches of gold, adorned with a satin ribbon, and packaged in a luxurious satin-lined box.
Handmade in the USA, every piece is unique—and created to be passed down and cherished by future generations.
