Zhostovo Metal Trays - Artistic Treasure

Those beautiful hand-painted Zhostovo metal trays have been handcrafted by a world-renowned artist. This style of painting dates to the 18^th century when this painting technique was used. The tray is coated with a few layers of priming and oil varnish. This beautiful work of art is created with a few consecutive energetic and firm strokes with a soft brush and oil paints, richly diluted with linseed oil. As a finishing touch, the tray is then covered with three layers of light lacquer and polished to brilliance.
