This beautiful hand-painted metal tray is handcrafted by skilled Zhostovo Artists.

This style of painting dates to the 18^th century when this technique was used. The tray is coated with a few layers of priming and oil varnish. This beautiful work of art is created with a few consecutive energetic and firm strokes with a soft brush and oil paints, richly diluted with linseed oil. The tray is then covered with three layers of light lacquer as a finishing touch and polished to brilliance.

This tray is one of a kind, and while it has not been used, it may have some minor age-related wear and manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era and the origin tray may show some slight imperfections and light scratches. The pictures provided are of the actual tray, and the buyer will be responsible for determining whether the condition of the tray meets their standards before purchasing.
