This beautiful hand-painted metal tray is handcrafted by a world-renowned artist. This style of painting dates to the 18th century when this painting technique was used. The tray is coated with a few layers of priming and oil varnish. This beautiful work of art is created with a few consecutive energetic and firm strokes with a soft brush and oil paints, richly diluted with linseed oil. As a finishing touch, the tray is then covered with three layers of light lacquer and polished to brilliance.
This tray is one of a kind, and while it has not been used, it may have some minor age-related wear and manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era and the origin-the tray may show some slight imperfections and light scratches.
